Why do people use PCP

Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco first informed the frivolous use of PCP in the year 1967.

All through this period, the people in this region mainly used psychedelic drugs. The most well known drug at this time was LSD and many of the people were looking out for related kind of experiences of LSD from different drugs.

The users of PCP felt that their mind was disconnected from their bodies and as such PCP is regarded as a dissociative drug.

Some people were highly disturbed by this as they were looking forward to an experience like LSD.

Quite a lot of people were stunned at the effects of PCP. They were frightened and had a terrible experience with PCP.

On the other hand, PCP started to be available in other regions in the Country and most of the users’ complaint of awful experience with PCP. This is because of alteration of the body’s perception.

This drug is rather inexpensive to manufacture where the market is small. PCP is the raw material utilized in quite a few street drugs. It has been sold as Hawaiian woodrose, cocaine, amphetamine, LSD, mescaline, THC, psilocybin, cannabinol, etc, to make it look more powerful. It is also used in talc, parsley and tobacco.
