My Eating Disorder Story | AsToldByAllie

Video Description

"**Disclaimer: This video may be triggering for those who have in the past or are currently suffering from an eating disorder. I will NEVER encourage restrictive eating habits unless they align with your own ethics and morals (such as religion and animal rights). Some may consider veganism as a restrictive way of eating but that is based on the person and situation. I was able to handle my disorder while vegan, which can be rare but I do not believe in doing so unless you are seeking additional help such as counseling or therapy.**

Not going to lie or sugar coat anything but this was a tough video to make. I don't love being vulnerable, especially on the internet, but I believe it is important for people to share their stories so they can connect with others who have gone through the same thing. Eating disorders aren't a choice, but deciding to get help is. I hope you all find this video informative and be sure to leave any comments and questions down below. I promise next video will be a bit more happy-go-lucky haha xoxo Allie

"Being strong is being able to get out of your eating disorder and becoming healthy, even when the voice in your head won’t let you. Ignoring this voice, is being the strongest, so don’t ever give up."
