"Sabrina Bembenek, a mother who lost her son, Spencer Christian Wessel, to heroin, and Billy Pfaff, founder of the group Heroin is Killing My Town, held a memorial for Spencer on the Burlington Town Common on October 11.

The event was also to raise awareness of the growth of heroin use and to provide information and resources to those who have loved ones struggling with addiction.
