Video Description

"Talking to friends or family about depression is hard! This is part 1 of 2 videos that I have created in order to get us talking with our loved ones about our depression.

Did you know that on average it can take people 2 years to first reach out for help? That is a long time to be feeling so bad! It is my hope that these videos can help us shorten that time, and begin talking about our depression. We all deserve to feel happy and be happy, and by getting the support we need from those we love, we are that much closer to it! I hope this helps!

Quotes

"I had a terrible day today and started telling myself, "You just need to suck it up. Stop acting like a loser. You're so weak." It's that sort of thinking that keeps me from getting better, and I need to start putting myself first."
