Video Description

"What is a Gambling Disorder?" uses research-based facts to provide a better understanding of gambling addiction, whom and how many people they impact, and how they are diagnosed and treated. This is the first video of the organization's newest educational initiative -- the NCRG Video Series -- which was developed to help individuals better understand and address critical issues related to gambling disorders and responsible gaming.

"Everyone believes the harm is how much money is spent, and that what’s driving the compulsive gamblers is a desire to make money. But the idea of winning money falls away when you get to the point of addiction."
