It was shot in Washington, D.C. at the historic Howard Theater as well as the Wards 5 & 6 DC Prevention Center in early August, 2012, days before a dynamic exchange of dialogue exploring the real impact of fake weed and the future of the District of Columbia at Goethe Institut. ""Synthetic Marijuana: YOUth's Real Relationship with Fake Weed"" brings together young men and women to discuss their perceptions, experiences, opinions, and their feelings on the marketing of synthetic substances in their communities, our communities. Courtney Bennett, Youth Advocate & Community Organizer, serves as moderator for the conversation. Directed by Danielle Koon and Adam Simms. Produced by the DC Prevention Center for Wards 5 & 6 in conjunction with DC Department of Health Addiction Prevention & Recovery Administration.
