Battling Depression (and winning!)
Video Description"INSTAGRAM: http://instagram.com/anneem83
Hey guys! Long time no see, right?! I've really been wanting to make this video and get back into the swing of things for months, but I simply couldn't. I've been away to heal with my family and friends and have been doing amazing. I really missed you guys and the joy I get from sharing a piece of my world with you all.
First off, I would not still be here if it wasnt for my husband who saved my life and is my rock. I want to stress that this wasn't a ""Hey, woe is me, I need help."" video. I've received amazing treatment, including therapy and medication and am feeling better than I have in a very long time. This is just a way for me to in a sense let it go. A miscarriage on top of many other factors contributed to what happened earlier this year. Talking about it is still hard for me, but it's important for me to do because I was taught to keep my feelings to myself and deal Trust me, if I wasn't somewhat over the worst of it, there is no way I would open myself up to the criticism and speculations of da innanets with such a sensitive matter. belee dat.
Being open and honest releases me from that shame and silence and what better way to do that than by hopefully helping someone else in the same situation, or letting others not to feel as alone as I did. Looking forward to a better me, and awesome beginnings.
In times of depression, people can take drastic measures. Remember you are loved, things will get better, and dont end your story before the chapter is over!!
